aww how pretty! I love the light setting, it makes the whole piece so dreamy and hopeful! And her face looks wonderful too fitting to the atmosphere.

This is really beautiful, Ilu-chan! The lighting feels much more natural and the natural elements do complete the scene very well while the hazy background give a very mystical and calm feeling to it all... and all that while keeping the focus on the character. ^w^ It's very, very good.

The only thing that I personally don't like too much, even if it's just a minor detail, is that the color of the rose that's close to her hair is similar to the hair's color itself... and not in a positive way, I feel it kind of clashes with it.
But, as I said, a rather minor detail that surely doesn't spoil this beatiful piece. ^^

Huwa thanks Osric! \>3</
Glad to see it's an improvement over the past. Granted, a lot of it is because of the photo I used for the inspiration =w=

Hmm yeah... I see the problem now with the roses... Earlier I was fiddling with them because something seemed off, but I couldn't figure out what orz
I wish I didn't merge the rose layer... It'd be easier to make edits =w=;;

Thanks for the critique, Osric! Though, lately I'm wondering if you are taking/have taken art classes before =w=? Since you have a great eye for these types of details.

Hmm? Oh, no... no art classes or anything, but probably a good eye for detail. ^^ I just call them as I see them and I'm glad if it's accurate enough.
Might come a bit with the (side)job though... colors and visual impact are rather important for a florist after all.

FLORIST
Hmm, my image of you is shifting =w= *kicked by Osric

It sounds like your job helps develop those areas o3o I should try studying flowers a little, too, since I can't be a florist. But then, you probably already had a good sense of colors and visual impact when you started *shot*

Well, even if you haven't taken art classes, you have a lot of experience in understanding how it works. =w=
*admiration for Osric increased by 1!* /thrown to the ocean

Well, it's not as if I had much choice in the matter... have to help with family business... while it lasts at least. (Since we're closing down by the end of the year)
But yeah, did help in understanding stuff that's important also for visual art. ^^
